Paint Like a Ross in collaboration with Studio Cennen’s Lore of the Leaves exhibition.

I’m delighted to be working in collaboration with Brigid, my neighbour and owner of the wonderful Studio Cennen to host something a little different in Ffairfach.

Together, we are hosting a relaxed, hands-on painting session inspired by the joyful techniques of Bob Ross. We’ll explore his much-loved wet-on-wet (alla prima) method while creating an Oak Tree landscape — a gentle nod to the Folklore theme of Studio Cennen’s current exhibition.

Over three unhurried hours, you’ll be guided step by step in a welcoming, supportive setting. Whether you’ve never picked up a paintbrush or you paint regularly, this session is about enjoying the process, embracing creativity, and letting yourself unwind. No experience is needed — just come as you are.

As a certified Bob Ross instructor, trained by Bob Ross, Inc., I make sure to bring warmth, encouragement and a lightness of touch to every class. The studio is right next door to the gallery at The Old Cheese Factory, so you can easily combine your session with time in the exhibition — we’d love you to make an afternoon of it.

Your place includes:
– A three-hour guided oil painting session
– All materials provided
– Your finished painting to take home the same day

The session is designed for adults. Young people aged 12–18 are very welcome when accompanied by a paying adult (separate booking required).

Spaces are limited to keep the atmosphere relaxed and personal.

We can’t wait to paint with you — and see your own happy little tree come to life.

Class dates:

Tuesday 21st April, 11am–2pm
Followed by a visit to the gallery to view the exhibition.

Friday 24th April, 4pm–7pm
With the opportunity to visit the exhibition from 3pm beforehand.

Refreshments will be served.

Please head to Studio Cennen to book to combine your painting session with a private view of the current exhibition
